I thought he purposely went radio silent at the shows CAUSE he could potentially be dropping but in hindsight that makes me question when this is actually coming now

People wouldnât be fiending for this album if Drake hasnât been saying it was dropping imminently for the past two months.
If plans changed, communicate that to the fans the same way you communicate that itâs coming in two weeks

I just don't feel announcing a push back is necessary when an official date wasn't given
A timeframe (summer) and rough date (two weeks from the beginning of August) was given. Those are two specific time periods that were given for this album.
If he couldnât meet that timeframe, which is fine, communicate that to the people

More Life and CLB was basically rolled out this way until it was actually album time

Iâm the same way. Getting the cover was nice. My only real gripes are the pointless updates at the shows (minus a couple of feature announcements) and the scan the dogs daily bullshit lol.
Cause I work in media/marketing, the scan the dogs thing pisses me off cause I thought that was a great campaign for an album rollout that only he could capitalize on very well. Idk whatâs good with that or what happened.

YA ICEMAN ACEThe point is Drake said that we were two weeks away five weeks ago... Nobody was looking for anything until Drake posted that he made an album and then made multiple promises about the weeks or seasons during which it would drop
Don't switch it around and act like we're being greedy by expecting him to hold true to his word

So many sick parts of this rollout. The QR code. Public dog mask appearances. Cover art on the walls of DrakeRelated. They were all just timed together horrendously
