I have no idea when this shift happened but it seems like fans care WAY more about the business (streams, sales & chart position) behind the music than the actual music. These artists will never actually confirm or deny, but when you reach that level I don’t think you care anymore.

She re released a 13 year old album and it outsold CLB’s first week. That’s drakes biggest album since scorpion, he would never drop the same week as her. It would be stupid.

Dropping “close” and dropping the same day are different. If you honestly think he doesn’t care about getting a number one album then you really don’t know what you’re talking about. He doesn’t care about the Grammies or money anymore. He cares about being number 1 and he will not risk that.

My favorite part of being on here is when people stop theorizing & it flows to speaking in certainties. Neither one of us will ever know his motives around when he chooses to drop when he does. We disagree.
