Eh, he knows Drake through KD and is a huge Drake stan. Him and KD confirmed that they heard several songs off Her Loss months before the album dropped in their podcast episode reviewing the album so he's usually clued in on some stuff — of course, it's all dependent on if/when Drake sends KD some stuff to hear or he gets information that Drake will be dropping soon.

Never said anyone should depend on him. I've followed him for years. He used to post "scary hours" whenever a Drake drop was imminent. He posted that days before DLDT dropped, SH2 dropped and right before Her Loss got announced lol. He doesn't need to troll to get engagement and he definitely doesn't need to troll Drake fans when he's a huge Drake stan himself. He's just as eager for new Drake music as the next Drake fan.

Can confirm. Been following Eddie for almost a decade, before he had the KD connect. He's a legit stan. He always had lowkey ties to the camp & I’ve never seen him troll about a Drake drop before.
