And then out of those 10 songs, only 4 end up being standouts lmao.
If an artist can only give you 4 standout songs out of 10 songs, then the artist just isnât that good
And again, why is the only alternate to 20+ songs only 10 to yâall? Whatâs wrong with 15-17?
Honestly, Nevermind and Her Loss were perfect lengths

MOAR MOOSIC
Not everyone got attention spans of goldfish and can listen and to and enjoy long albums
Drake been dropping 20+ track projects since the start of his career lol. Room for Improvement, Comeback Season, Views, More Life, Scorpion, CLB each have at least 20 songs on them. There's also projects like So Far Gone, IYRTITL, Her Loss which have at least 16 songs. He's always been a high clip artist and rightfully so because he doesn't just rap. He needs enough songs to cover ground.

I think playtime more important to me tbh
50min - 1hr 15 min my sweet spot
The reason I loved HNVM so much is cuz itâs the one album he didnât have to cater to every audience . Thatâs fine to do for a few albums and it made sense at the time but at this point it is redundant. HNVM was a fresh change of scenery
More Life being a âplaylistâ was on purpose. They knew where streaming was heading lol.
Like. Plus, what's the f***ing difference between 17-18 songs and 20-22 songs? You just give fans the option to love more songs and there's nothing wrong with that.
You don't get points for dropping short albums in the streaming era. No one gives a f***. Fans wanna be fed. Plus, Drake fans are insatiable. He dropped 2 projects last year and niggas are acting like he's been gone for 10 years lmao. He knows his base and knows they're always in need of more music. Nothing wrong with him feeding the monster he created.

No one has a problem with the 16-18 range.
Nobody is listening to Room for Improvement and Comeback Season in 2023.
All of those 20+ song projects you named are consistently ranked in the latter half of Drakeâs discography, generally speaking
And again, why is the only alternate to 20+ songs only 10 to yâall? Whatâs wrong with 15-17?

See thatâs what I mean tho. Honestly never mind was way too short to me
Yâall really in here advocating against quality control, what a time man
To me itâs both lol
If weâre talking in general, not absolutes, GENERALLY speaking, all of his 20+ song projects are usually ranked in the bottom half of his discography.
Take Care is technically 18 tracks btw
The majority of Drake's fanbase doesn't give a f***. You're the one who cares about that. People love Take Care and Views and a lot of people are already admitting that CLB has grown on them. Those are all 20+ track projects. Who cares what a small minority online have to say about "long albums"?
Plus, Drake isn't your average rapper. He doesn't just make rap songs. He has several styles he covers on his albums to satisfy his fanbase. He's the one person who is justified in making long albums.
You thinking 20 tracks give or take? @thegreatdivine
At least 20 but I'll take more.
Please hurry up & drop the album @drake

You're the only one crying here about album rankings. This is 2023. Drake's legacy is solified. No one cares about his album's rankings. People like what they like and Drake always gives people a handful of songs off every project that they f*** with. That's all they care about.
I just noticed the 3 on each row below the last 2, it really does say 09/22/23 basically lol
I might be single but you mad cuz Drake hasnât drop the 1st single find you something to do outside of D Riding drake for new music your pathetic
youâre*
See thatâs what I mean tho. Honestly never mind was way too short to me
Black Coffee did an interview saying he was surprised when Drake told him he'd be dropping the album ASAP because he felt they weren't done working on it yet. That project could have easily been 16-18 songs and just as strong. Drake was just impatient for some reason.

On each row?
Wouldnât it read 093/223/20233 then
We're closer to the end of Drake's career than we are to the start of it and niggas want short albums because of album rankings
This nigga can retire any day now. I need as many songs as I can get from him before that happens.

This is not really true TBH
More Life is ranked Top 5 alot of the time, Views is ranked Top 5 more often than not and Take Care obviously
The only long project of his that's disliked is Scorpion and CLB
No artists fans are fed more than Drake, guy consistently drops albums every single year but the fan base acts like itâs the end of the world if he doesnât have 20+ songs on every album
Spoiled asses lol

I saw a lot of online appreciation for CLB in it's 2-year anniversary that just passed. It's growing on people.
