    -he has alot of the album in his possession and was listening tryna understand how it all fits together, him and drake listened to it together on ride over to videoshoot and drake broke it all down for him and it made more sense
    -certain topics on album will spark alot of dialogue
    -asked drake why he don’t make heartbreak drake music anymore, drake said he has trouble making music about things he isn’t going through
    -it sounds very ‘current’
    -some of drake’s best verses on here
    -most performance heavy record as far as energy
    -“super good, im excited, it’s tight”
    -adonis gotta nice check for cover
    -he worked on it

    really glad adonis got a check for the cover. starving artists really get screwed over these days. nice to see drake pays his team well.

    I hope that the “spark a lot of dialogue” comment is about some actually interesting lyrical topics and not just the ten thousandth subliminal at Pusha/Kanye/whoever else

    The one of them in the woods with the wolves in Vancouver. Said it was like 3AM in a non residential area in the middle of nowhere so they had to be followed but not surprised bc Drake fans do crazy s*** and follow him everywhere on the daily

    the former could happen and we’d still get the latter imo. The subs/jabs/shots are coming either way. But Yachty made it seem like it’s about his life in general

    Yachty: I don’t think he does it on purpose its just he deals with some controversial things so the music for him is just true journaling.
