Getting a new project 6 hours after it gets announced is the best thing for someone like Drake because an extended rollout will lead to too many people trying to clout chase, claiming to know s*** about the album and too many theories will get thrown around about who'll be on the album, etc.
At least, with the CLB "rollout" (if you can even call it that), he didn't say s*** about the album and just dropped it.
It's worse this time around because Drake fully engaged in the mess by talking endlessly about an album we haven't heard yet and posting/reposting s*** to drive certain narratives about said album instead of just letting the music speak like he usually does.
and both projects didnt perform well numbers-wise, especially first week 🤷♂️ he knows what he's doing.
Absolutely not wtf
Lmao s*** weird as hell. We were having a discussion about his intros and they said they like to listen to his outros first. I dont skip around first listen with any album of any artist tbh unless its a specific feature i wanna hear on an artist i might not rock with heavy
Nigga, did you pull out a scientific drawing to defend Drake about capping about dropping the album this summer?

Exactly this is just creating hype.. this will do crazy numbers

How didn't they perform well? Honestly, Nevermind was a dance album that debuted with >200k units and scored 3 top 10 hits, including a #1 hit. Her Loss scored the fourth biggest US streaming week debut for an album, debuted with >400k units and scored 8 top 10 hits. No other rap artist is coming close to doing that. Hell, they're even struggling to do 200k first week.
but to the max gets hate
Crazy!
To the max > Search and rescue. Not even close

I don’t even skip song that I’m not feeling off first listen for any album especially drakes. His intros and putrid are two iconic to disrespect like that 😭
official IG announcement for the single today pls
Probably won't remember he has a song to drop till tomorrow afternoon when 40 reminds him.

I strongly co-sign this, Search and Rescue is the worst drake song OAT
You’re posting in a drake sub forum on the internet for attention. Get over yourself that’s Stan level.
Go back to Stan the song by Eminem, he was still STAN when he hated Eminem 💀
I don’t hate Drake though.. i’ve always given him praise on the things I love lol how many times have I said I like Honestly Nevermind?
Damn man. This guy really is the 🐐
You don’t “co-sign” anything he does. It’s all negative POV’s from you all the time, it’s exhausting.
I’ve said I like Honestly Nevermind and have said I love Take Care, NWTS, IYRTITL, etc. Said Flights Booked and Overdrive are some of my favorite songs right now. I was just in the Comeback Season thread sharing my memories of discovering his music like what? lol
