I just don’t get what the point of announcing an album before its ready is. No one was pressing him to release an album until he announced it. I wouldn’t have even expected an album until next year. I think he does it because he knows it’ll generate hype and gets a little too excited. He jumps the gun on every recent release. This proved to me her loss was delayed bc of him and not 40 getting covid 100%.

I’ve never seen an artist kill their own album hype like Drake does. Releases a very well received song with the hype riding high into next week and immediately postpones the album. Makes no sense.
