April we started hearing rumblings of a project, Drizzy bout to hit a three peat
May was when I bought my tickets to the tour
June was when insiders started spreading rumors galore
July I was scanning the dogs daily, maybe even hourly, I can’t remember for sure
August I was taking Drizzy for his word after every show he did on tour
September we finally won and got the date we was lookin for
October we get the delay that great Devine called, I ain’t even want this s*** anymore

This rollout was fun in my opinion. It was frustrating that it seemed like he wasn’t keeping his word at first but I think there was truly some stuff that happened unexpectedly (maybe 40 not feeling well?) that locked him into giving updates because he had already started talking before that happened… it was probably so close to being done when whatever happened, happened, and it just didn’t get done when he thought it would. Oh well.. can’t believe we are already in for another classic

Theory: Drake drops the single on Friday and gives a speech at the show on how that should hold us till he's done making the album because the album is no longer dropping on the 22nd of September
