i do think he intended to drop on 9/22 that's why he released the single. but single reception got him shook
which i don't understand because why would he want god's plan, lncl or rich flex type reception from a r&b track
You're dumb if you think the reception to the single (which has been mostly crazy positive) is why he's delaying the album by 3 whole weeks.

February I was contemplating which project to leave on repeat
March I decided to start posting again on KTT
April we started hearing rumblings of a project, Drizzy bout to hit a three peat
May was when I bought my tickets to the tour
June was when insiders started spreading rumors galore
July I was scanning the dogs daily, maybe even hourly, I can’t remember for sure
August I was taking Drizzy for his word after every show he did on tour
September we finally won and got the date we was lookin for
October we get the delay that great Devine called, I ain’t even want this s*** anymore
November still no project, thread getting locked
December I was finally listening to all the summer bops
