Drake works on albums until literally the last minute, that’s why there’s always songs that get mixing fixes a few days later - they’re working on it until probably an hour or two before you hear it.

Crazy how Scorpion and Honestly, Nevermind are his only two studio albums that never got officially pushed back.

EDIT: I forgot that Scorpion was originally announced for June 14

Which means his only surprise-release studio album is the only one that never got an official delay

Crazy I would think when we get a date it's finished

he should not drop a new date till he's 100% sure that album is done and ready

Why so many people fussing over a pushback? He gave us 3 albums in 2 years and he’s dropped a project every year since 2015. This probably the most fed fanbase in hip hop the last 15 years and y’all complaining about a pushback. Y’all make it seem like he only drop once every 5 years

Nothing to do with the frequency of putting out albums, sick and tired of him always announcing a release date before the album is complete. Very unprofessional and essentially disrespecting his loyal fans who were willing to spend $500 to see him performing a karaoke
