i think CLB sales is gonna be hard to top but i seen so many casuals on tiktok post abt the album so i expect that to translate well
only reason i think her loss didn't go 500+ was becus of poor reception to hnvm
Havent seen so many casuals and young fans fw drake this much since views. The energy around him feels like a new artist on tiktok

I donât, this got more hype than CLB. CLB felt mysterious until the final 2 weeks with the sportcenter and announcing features stuff. This has had hype for a month now and we got 3 weeks to go. 2021 also was still during Covid etc. I think this can sell 650-700k. Either way this album gonna do more damage to the charts than CLB did. He probably will have the entire top 10 too. CLB also didnât really have any smash hits. This album probably will have hits like scorpion if bunny and nicki on it.

itâs like the folklore effect. taylor swift was declining in 2019 after her lover album and looking like she would slowly fall out of relevancy, but then her releasing folklore in 2020 changed everything. she made an album that was very well liked by both critics and casuals, which made people feel like they could listen to her music without fear of being made fun of, boosting her career immensely.
similarly, her loss was very well recieved by casuals, moreso than any recent drake album. if for all the dogs is also positively recieved (which i think it will be), itâll boost the GPâs opinion of drakeâs discography in general and him as an artist.
Someone in here talking about it selling less than utopia.
when will people wake up and realize trav sold in the 200-300k range without bundles. If drake had bundles heâd sell a million first week.
Yâall keep failing to realize these artists donât all share the same fanbases. Drake is not selling a million first week in 2023 with bundles lmao

He would if theyâre $5

okay but the crossover between Trav fans and Drake fans is much larger than Drake and Taylor for example

i think ur underestimating how big clb really was, i feel like clb vs donda being so prevalent at the time helped. even though donda sucked ass

He would tbh. He could bundle so much. He could bundle these with the album for $5 and sell a ton. I don't think he ever would though

if drake had bundled the album with the nocta nike techs that wouldâve been an easy million
If he wanted to operate at a loss like Trav did he could sell vinyl, BWFH candles, tour merch at all reduced prices
I would 100% buy the tour merch from his website
He would if theyâre $5

he not enough of a sellout.
we'll never see him like travis who was selling vinyl records at a profit loss just to make some album sales đ

I know you lot like to hate on Ye here but Donda was fantastic

I think he doesn't do it because he knows he would just dominate, he doesn't really need to anyway

lil yachty did this too now that i think about it
This is a âtraditionalâ drake solo studio album. Comparing to her loss or HNVM is doing you zero good lol.

nah, haven't revisited a single song since 2021

if travis scott can do 250K with bundles for a s***ty album, drake can at least double that

CLB was huge, but in 2023 drake coming off her loss and connecting more with the youth makes this era feel bigger. Drake also on tour promoting.
