He's a critic darling now and so anything he does will be met with a warm reception but that don't mean his music is translating/impacting mainstream rap in any meaningful way.

Chance the Rapper's Acid Rap/Coloring Book were impactful releases.

ScHoolboy Q's Oxymoron album was impactful.

dvsn's Sept. 5th was impactful.
PND1/2 were impactful.

I never compared his discog w drake. But to deny tyler music has been impactful to rap is almost like u been blind to a whole scene of rap for past years lol like I said I'm not even a big fan of him but it's pretty undeniable he and odd future are impactful

I'm not denying what he has built with his brand and I'm not denying his talent as a producer/rapper. I'm not denying that many of his peers like him but people were hard-pressed to mention even just 5 impactful songs he has. I can probably list off 5 impactful songs off Coloring Book and that s*** ain't got anything to do with numbers/stats. That's the point I'm trying to make. That and no f***ing way is his discography better than Drake's because he's got a couple acclaimed albums in his pocket lol.
