It’s called denial. Cancelling shows last minute after already delaying the album for 2 weeks instills confidence? If he cancelled to work on it, who’s to say he’ll be done by next week? Show cancellations could be unrelated, but being skeptical is 100% fair at this point.

I understand that but it sounds more like extra assurance that he's doing whatever it takes to finish it at home next week and be true to his word on 10/6. There's been a million lies and inconsistencies tho so it's hard to tell

I’d rather just get the album 2024 and him finish the tour man. Obviously the album might not be the reason for the delay, but he himself said it’s either delay the album or delay shows. Idk this is a weird look to me..

I’m not out on anything, but I do want people to enjoy the show that they planned for and paid for months in advance.
Especially if the reason for postponing is for an album when we literally got two drake albums last year and a traditional solo album the year before that.

When were these cancelled shows meant to happen ?
The ones that were cancelled today were for 10/1, 10/2 & 10/9. The other ones were for random dates in September, I believe. The Columbus show cancellation is concerning because that cannot be album related if he’s dropping 10/6. Which means he just straight up lied about rescheduling.
