This is an outright lie. I know everyone here buys everything you say, but I actually know for a fact that this is a lie. Most artists send their albums out for physicals weeks, sometimes months prior to their release date and everything is concluded by then.

You could make that case for rap albums but even then, Travis' album went out for physicals weeks prior. The only change made was adding the Drake feature. Kendrick/Eminem also don't work on their albums till the very last minute so miss me with this take.

Drake is the only one who works on s*** till the last possible minute because he knows he'll do numbers regardless.

Whatever song Drake/Yachty have together on the album, I hope Yachty raps like he did on Solo Steppin Crete Boy and not that weird, annoying moaning singing s*** he does on songs like Tesla/Poland.

I’m sorry but this isn’t true. You’re 100% right huge pop stars who have their lyrics written for them and videos done by the studio with a budget most likely have it done beforehand. There’s also a small sample size of artists from other genres who do this. But you’re taking a select few “very well known” artists who do that. You’re not accounting for 99% of other artists who wait till the last minute. Yes there is a small 1% of artists who are household names who have everything laid out. If it wasn’t a copyright infringement or a risk of me getting fired, I would show you a list longer than the dictionary of songs to be cleared the day before their album drops.
