Man, I just gotta get this off my chest, fam. Drake’s new album is straight-up disappointing. I mean, come on, he used to be the king of the game, but this album feels like he’s just phoning it in. The production is lackluster, and the lyrics are nowhere near the level we expect from him. It’s like he’s lost that hunger and edge that made him a rap icon.
And let’s not even get started on the features, man. It’s like he’s trying to carry the whole album on his shoulders, and it’s just not working. The guest verses are forgettable, and it feels like he’s trying to ride off their hype rather than bringing his A-game. Drake used to be the one setting trends, but now it feels like he’s just following the wave.
Look, I used to be a die-hard Drake fan, but “For All the Dogs” has me questioning if he’s still got it. It’s time for him to step up and remind us why he’s considered one of the greats. Until then, I’ll be bumping his older classics and hoping for a comeback.
