There’s a good number of people who would put those in drakes all time best albums
People weren’t expecting tracks like controlla, too good and one dance. I’d compare its reaction to that of HN, it wasn’t that the tracks were bland they were different. A lot of people I know have changed their mind on HN as well
This sounds like a lot of the filler bits from CLB and scorpion which are still viewed pretty tepidly today.
Still, who knows, in a year I might like more songs of this album. I don’t have a crystal ball
