SegaDreamFlashDawn FM is one of Weeknds most positive albums lyrically and a good chunk of it is him coming to grips about how that lifestyle wasn’t good for him lol that’s why if you look at the lyrics they’re more retrospective

Drake in 2023 is nowhere near the artist that the Weeknd is. You got one autotune struggle singing partial verses compared to the other singing every song perfectly life. Drake stopped respecting his craft as much as he did in nwts times. Weeknd is still putting the effort in as he was with kissland. Lowkey drake became who the weeknd was singing about in his older music and vice versa.
And I used to hate the comparisons being made between the two and thought Drake was miles ahead.
