Agree. Donda is a genuinely beautiful, heartbreaking, unique album. Just bogged down a little by the runtime.

It’s funny how people outside Canada are like oh let’s check out the Drake album, pretty good, love the memes etc, when we will never know how many people he’s killed, how many lives he’s destroyed with his iron grip on Toronto’s underworld, how many people he’s silenced.

Also again, he clearly rushed this out after tapping in with BYNX and feeling like he had to put something out. Reason why mfs was working on this til after 12 at night. That should tell you everything you need to know.

You think about Jay-Z when he was Drake's age (37 on the 24th of this month) though. Jay-Z at 37 dropped a mature album called Kingdom Come. Ever heard of it? The sheer difference is mind boggling. Kingdom Come had 4 great tracks and some of my personal favorite Hov cuts. Show Me What U Got, Lost Ones, Beach Chair, 30 Something... just interesting to see two all rap greats and how they differed crafting albums at the same age.
