I can go so much deeper but my first post I just wanted to say some quick thoughts.
Im also going to say this.
Drake level is still elite but hes suffering from lack of competition. Hiphop is at a low point right now.
This isn't 2013 when every other artist was dropping high quality bodies of work. You had to bring your A game and drop elite music.
in 2023 the competition isn't dropping elite music so your level naturally drops off.
Victim of his own success and lack of competition.
I appreciate Drake for literally doing the type of music he wants. He ahs 100% freedom... he literally does what he feels he can do.
He cant tell that man s***. Although he does have some questionable wack bars here.. I appreciate the fact he's willing to let them fly.
Not his best album lyrically but cmon he wasn't going with that focus.
