Drew a Picasso is the epitome of classic Drake wrapped into a song
Fake fans saying there was no classic drake, when 40 produced beat and Drake going in on some second half from time s*** or some since way back when s***.
after everyone hated HNVM for months, I’ve seen more love for it than ever before.
I will never trust their immediate perception. I trust the music
Because everyone who hated it is ignoring it now lmfao
That album came and went so quick
Just like CLB
And just like DLDT
Album is not good and its not because of the features

@Vietbrah Are you in the Drake cord?
I still think the second half of the album is the stronger half of the album but the first half has grown on me crazy since the album dropped. I've played the album from front to back like 3 times now and there are zero bad songs here. Zero. Different songs for different moods but they all work somehow. This album will age incredibly well and it has an energy and pace that CLB severely lacked.
This feels like More Life to me in the same way More Life felt like Drake making a correction to Views. This feels like a more well put-together version of CLB.

This
Only thing I'll ask of Drake after this album is that he really does take a break from music. Starve the game. Don't drop any music for at least a year, preferably two years. Let them see what the landscape looks like without you in it.
He can give his creative energy to other more fulfilling things. He's done more than enough for the game anyways.

I’ve been waiting on this and you delivered
This is exactly the same sentiments I have for this project
Amazing words and very well written 🙏

What songs on here do you find being the big 3?
A lot of it pretty much sounds like original songs from his features that were given to him to add on to.
On IDGAF he sounds like a feature.
On Another Late Night he sounds like a feature.
On Gently he sounds like a feature.
Calling For You just sounds like two combined solos that don't go together.
First Person Shooter is cool in the beginning, but it still broke off into what sounds like something you'd hear him do with 21 Savage in the second half.
There's stuff to love of course but it just doesn't feel complete.
This 100%
I always felt like Drake would morph his guests into a way that they fit his style, we’ve seen it on More Life and all his other projects meanwhile here it’s Drake dropping a verse on the guest’s signature sound instead. On songs like IDGAF I really feel like he added nothing to a Yeat song

Which one?
He leaned in to the younger audience for real, but it’s cool cause I f*** with this style

I love yeat and yatchy
