MrPJPThis is pretty much how I feel. I'm obviously a massive Drake fan so I'm always going to enjoy a Drake album regardless. But there's definitely criticisms to be had with it. It'll be lower down on my Drake discography ranking but I'm having a good time with it. Multiple songs could have been cut or released as a care package/scary hours EP to make the album flow nicer but it is what it is.
Bad Bunny song is a nice fun joint but feels so out of place on the album. 21 and Yachty features are so trash imo and would rather have had extra Drake verses.
I do feel one day we'll get one of those Drake albums with a more mature subject matter though. People go through life at different stages and he's obviously not there yet so for now I'll keep enjoying the fun side of his music.

Just where he was at in life. You arenāt going to get a āmatureā album from a guy thatās still out partying everyday and hasnāt settled down. Just the reality of it. Lil Wayne doesnāt have a āmatureā album and heās arguably one of the greatest if not the greatest rapper of all time.

And this is why I said everyone goes through life in different stages and Drake ain't there yet so ill still enjoy his fun party orientated music. I'm happy regardless with what we get haha

feels like this has been one of the bigger issues
every one turns into a professional critique whenever drake drops while they let the similar issues slide for plenty other artists as long as the music sounds gooddrake can cater to a lot of audiences and it seems like people wont except anything but their own optimal version of drake they built up in their head, despite what he is actually going through and wants to express in his music
they want him to be everything but himself or rap about his actual lifestyle which seems crazy to me
