Calling For You interlude needs to be removed. Song is way too damn long. Beat switch is okay with 21. Honestly feels like a cut from Her Loss.

Oct 8, 2023Mastiffwhat does a good album involve? What exactly is it you don't like about the album? Something wrong with the production, the lyrics, singing/rapping, feats?
This album is on par with Her Loss to me, maybe feels a bit more "commercial" than that based on some of the songs and feats but otherwise still dope.
I feels really uninspired to me. There's nothing that makes it stand out to me. Nothing that makes me want to come back to revist it. Usually Drake's good for a few real standout tracks. CLB for me had Knife Talk, Fair Trade, IMY2, Friends In The Industry ect. Nothing like that has really stood out for me for this album. Even the Cole song is dissapointing to me. Sounds like he tried to recreate Meltdown to a degree.
Idk I've been a fan of Drake since So Far Gone and this album just didn't doing it for me. I'll give it another chance or two before I completely write it off

Fear of Heights needed another verse. Perhaps cut the intro part, just get straight to the action.
Same goes for Daylight. Cut the little intro, straight to the music.
FOH and Daylight are solid. It’s like the Still Here and Hype of the album. Needed more of this tbh.
