I don’t think that’s necessarily the problem. I absolutely love FATD (pause), but I’d love to see drake actually finish an album before announcing it. The last few projects it seems like he’s announced them and then kept working right up until the night it drops. I imagine the direction/cohesion of the original project was a lot different. Would be cool to see him complete a body of work and give us his original vision without any late changes.

But again, not complaining as I think he delivered on this. Just an observation. Maybe he works better and finds inspiration once he puts a deadline on himself

I love the bark radio theme but i hate having to get to song 8 to start hearing the audio cued cohesion, theres only 3/4 songs I dont like on FATD

First class is not that crazy tbh like my friend got first class on a flight to japan for like 800$ and he was working at a restaurant for 15$ an hour plus tips, just gotta be the right day and have a little bit of money but nothing crazy

I’d agree with that. I feel similar - I like every song except gently. if I was being super critical I think he could’ve trimmed some of the intros, outros and beat switches (not to mention the skit on CFY) but overall there are so many infectious melodies and incredible verses.

For the people who prefer adding songs to a playlist or only revisiting certain tracks instead of playing an album in sequence (which seems to be the norm now unfortunately) it’s fantastic, so much variety and sounds very fresh.
