Agree with you on that, I was actually thinking about this the other day. Those mature albums were already early on his career.

Now that dudes completed everything he’s needed to, broken all these records too, dudes just having fun. Having people like Yachty etc around him seems to also give him impetus to make more music and have a different energy to what he does.

I’m just explaining why a Drake fan in their mid to late 30s would listen to this album and come away not liking it or finding themselves unable to identify with. I don’t care what Drake does or doesn’t do with his personal life because I don’t know the man, but as consumers we are allowed to judge and critique the art we consume.

Drake has always said his music is autobiographical, so by judging his music we’re also indirectly judging the stage he’s at in his life, whether that’s fair or not is another topic but that’s just how it is
