facts. we need a 40/drake album
Honestly... no we do not. Not at the detriment of 40's health. He literally stopped producing as much because of it
FPS
FOH
fear of heights is a banger but i do not see it charting high for a long time
âgrowing with his fansâ lmaoo an artist does not have to grow with s***, yâall treat these musicians like commodities and androids
How is expecting a human being to grow in a natural way treating them like a commodity?
Treating him as a commodity would be expecting him to appease younger crowds to maintain relevance amongst the newer generation of music listeners
I like the album, it's fun to listen to but there's nothing new here....is this really not just CLB x Her Loss?
why is drake not growing with me
Because heâs a rich rapper who doesnât have to live in the same reality as us
Actually i think is exact opposite. His music was more mature in the past. Projects like Nwts, iyrtitl and Views is just proof of that. No need to let guys like Lil Yachty (no offense )to help with the album. While making TC weeknd and 40 were around, while making NWTS 40, bo1da, partynextdoor and Majid Were around on IYRTITL he was pushing himself to prove everybody he is THE rapper, lyricist etc. Now he just dropped another playlist with few higher quality tracks and rest of it sounds like it was made with not much effort put into it. But yea thats just another opinion on this subject.
Agree with you on that, I was actually thinking about this the other day. Those mature albums were already early on his career.
Now that dudes completed everything heâs needed to, broken all these records too, dudes just having fun. Having people like Yachty etc around him seems to also give him impetus to make more music and have a different energy to what he does.

obviously not like that lmaoo...but i know 40 got a bunch of beat packs...atleast 100s laying around. they could look into opening one of those zips up

This is also completely dumb like 40 ain't one half of "Drake" with Aubrey.
And we've had albums with 40 production on every track, obviously there are reasons that 40 cannot do that anymore.
honestly too. I think ppl genuinely want better for Drake. itâs obviously delusional but we feel like we know him and he could be in a better place as a human rn lol
Isnât singing crooning drake + some rap workout songs on here old drake
?
Donât get what people expect when he drops
Need a full blown explanation on what people really want this man to do
It doesnât matter what he does people will complain no matter what, people complained since views thatâs heâs to formulaic and needs to experiment and then he dropped an experimental album (hnvm) and people still hated it

They should 100% make a video for that
would be lame, joe a drake stan at the end of the day. if heâs gonna take aim at someone on wax itâs gotta be someone that actually hates him lol
Nah youâre right⌠thank you for keeping my petty thoughts grounded đđ

The thing he posted on his story of the hate TC got just goes to show people werenât and wonât be happy with whatever he drops. People will either not fw his music or they will (even those who publicly claim not to).
I was thinking about how I would trim and restructure the album to make it more concise and cohesive, and this is what I came up with. Keep in mind, some of the tracks I removed I do enjoy, I just donât think they make much sense on this project:
1. Virginia Beach
2. Calling For You (first half only extended, no skit, no beat switch, no 21)
3. What Would Pluto Do
4. Rich Baby Daddy
5. Another Late Night
6. Amen
7. 8am in Charlotte
8. Slime You Out
9. Bahamas Promises
10. Tried Our Best
11. Drew a Picasso
12. Members Only
13. Polar Opposites
14. Away From Home

who are you to distinguish whatâs growing for another human let alone one that lives a exponentially different lifestyle than 99% of his fanbase?
rich baby daddy makes me wish i was a onlyfans w****
soooo goood
AYO

Yes. Im aware of everything you just said. Its just dunno man... Im just kinda dissapointed but I know thats my problem because every time when Drake makes an album announcement I always hope that maybe this time he will really deliver another amazing project like he used to. But yea. It is what it is.

Iâm just explaining why a Drake fan in their mid to late 30s would listen to this album and come away not liking it or finding themselves unable to identify with. I donât care what Drake does or doesnât do with his personal life because I donât know the man, but as consumers we are allowed to judge and critique the art we consume.
Drake has always said his music is autobiographical, so by judging his music weâre also indirectly judging the stage heâs at in his life, whether thatâs fair or not is another topic but thatâs just how it is
