Oct 9, 2023ICEMAN40Dang. I hate to hear it but I get it! Personally I loved it. It definitely has a more life feel to it as far as sequencing goes (feels more like a playlist than a studio album) but I’m ok with that. Songs like Polar Opposites, Virginia Beach, Drew a Picasso and Tried Our Best were extreme highs for me (I feel like Tried our Best might be a top 10 drake track ever) and I completely agree with what you said about Gently.
I’ve never agreed with the sentiment that Drake’s albums feel effortless until I heard this one. This feels like an incomplete project, Drakes vocals on idgaf not even mixed properly. Calling for you sounds like a her loss throwaway. First person shooter has the same formula as meltdown and jimmy cooks.. flat project.
