Basically. CLB would’ve been his best album if it wasn’t for the leaks. Those leaks killed the album and then he just threw a bunch of s*** together. What a shame

True but it drags on though I can’t lie but yeah it’s cool. Their voices sounded nice on that s***

I don’t think so. Scorpion was seen as a disappointment when it dropped but the general sentiment from casuals was still “damn this drake album got some fire on it.” Of course rap heads and enthusiasts bashed it a lot but the conversation around Drake wasn’t so polarized at the time.

And yeah between Her Loss and this, people are gonna go overboard when they feel like Drake makes a misstep. When he does something people don’t like and looks vulnerable to attacks, they bring up a least of everything that supposedly makes him a horrible person.

I do remember people posting the blackface picture of Drake and being like “Y’all still support him after this?” at the time but it was nothing compared to this. Over time the more controversies he gets involved in, the more ammo people have to attack him with and unfortunately FATD dropped in a social media climate that won’t appreciate it.

Also, funny as it sounds, I think Drake the person was kind of starting to be rehabilitated during the HNVM era even though his music was getting trashed super heavy. Her Loss seems to have had the opposite effect and FATD is suffering for it

Real s***. And the TSU intro kinda ruined the replay value - would’ve been cool to have 2 versions and play the long into version on sound 42 radio so we could still rip it if we want. And love all outro being taken off smh

Also, the last few cover arts kinda suck. I want some cool art work so I could buy a vinyl and display it

and yeah I agree that the CLB & HN covers were weak tbh

FATD is a step up but still not a very amazing cover art

my brother copped a Take Care vinyl and it looks like Art fr

maybe i'm just being a 'dickrider'

but to me, it just makes sense for that album

you understand the vibe of most of the project before you even start it

it just adds to the immersion

I guess in the digital era, it makes sense that Drake has started to care less about album covers
