HussleHis singing/r&b on here is as good as it's ever been. I think a lot of the discourse was because people wanted him to rap more. There's a really great r&b album in here that it looks like he decided to add rap songs to.

but i would say he could have had bnyx exclusively produce this to make this album more cohesive at times, cause he brought 2013 drake back on away from home

Exactly. I would appreciate it and respect it much more if he stuck to his creative vision and put out a project that was concise and cohesive rather than being so caught up on appeasing every audience in his fanbase. That’s one of the main reasons why people love Honestly, Nevermind and Her Loss so much.
It’s also why I can’t stand talking points like this:
Because it’s like people are forgetting that an album is going to be judged as a singular vision and not just a random collection of songs
