5/10 - mid
6/10 - decent
7/10 - good
8/10 - very good
9/10 - great
10/10 - perfect
But people call 5-6/10 stuff trash nowadays
Itās between like a 5-6 for me. Thereās definitely a great album here but he couldāve cut a lot of these joints. The bars on here are always very cringe at times and thereās a lack of energy on some songs with potential.
On the other hand, thereās a lot of infectious melodies on here and the prod heās on sounds great on a lot of the album. Does have some of his OG R&B vibes on here that I like as well. The features definitely delivered on here especially Teezo and SZA.
Music aside one thing I think Drake has pushed too far and doesnāt really have a benefit is alienating different fanbases who then join in on pile on slander and narratives about his character even if it donāt impact sales too much
-Meg (pointless)
Etc
S***s gets tiring
I agree. But at the same time he don't care. Whoever wants to enjoy the music would
Anyone getting fire & desire vibes from polar opposites?
Itās even better imo itās funny I got Ballin PND vibes from that song
Like I have nooooo idea what happened between Drake and The Weeknd for him to wanna say some lil slick s*** in a verse. Honestly the fans dragging that one more lol
Meg s***........he was wildin a lil bit lol but again, one slick bar
Don't worry weeknd gonna be at his birthday party and Drake gonna call him his best day one brother then diss right after
Itās even better imo itās funny I got Ballin PND vibes from that song
Better than fire & desire!? Stop the madness
Better than fire & desire!? Stop the madness

Which songs do you think have a lack of energy?
You misunderstood me. Of course they were seeing each other.
I'm asking about the "she's the one who got away" "he'll never get over her" "he fumbled it" narrative. Has Drake ever said in an interview somewhere, something to the effect of "Rihanna was endgame, the one who got away, etc." is what I'm wondering. Because I'd imagine he would be so candid in his younger years, but I can't really remember a moment he spoke on it outside of his music and in that fashion above.
The rihanna call out was addressing the internet saying he's still not over her. So not really mad at it. The rocky sub was low tho
Yeah & the s***was average w you
Yea I'm anti like your daddy sister
Anyone getting fire & desire vibes from polar opposites?
100%
Real af lol
finally listened and this a solid album. i don't know what i expected what with all the backlash to it but it was okay. it's a lot of music but there were many high points, i love what they did on the intro to what would be a typical Yeat song, Teezo was good and the whole of Amen was well done, Cole feature is nuts, the Yachty and SZA features were well done, there's an Adonis feature, etc. etc this a nice album
Which one was recorded 2 weeks ago?
8AM in Charlotte, he was in Charlotte for the tour on September 22nd and 23rd
Ppl saying they don't need to digest the whole album to review it like saying someone read a page of Crime & Punishment and thought Dostoevsky's book was too bloated š
calling for you, fear of heights and daylight definitely hurt the starting pace of the album, it did for me and i imagine it did for many others
calling for you wouldnāt even be so bad but that interlude kills any replayability of it and makes it a skip almost every time running it back
after the smooth soulful r&b first 2 songs it wasnāt the right vibe
Second part of Rich Baby Daddy is on some "9" outro s***.
I do. Did he drop?
na not yet.
had to quit rory & mal got too cheesy for me

move fear of heights and daylight down the tracklist somewhere else, take the hoe out calling for you and have it transition right into FPS cause it flows so much better and I think the album wouldāve had a better instant reception
drake sounds like heās giving backshots when keeps saying whoās the goat on FPS
i visualized this

stop it.
5/10 - mid
6/10 - decent
7/10 - good
8/10 - very good

10/10 - perfect

I completely agree with this. But for me 6 is moreso mid/average (I hate using the word mid unironically), 5 is just really forgettable and unremarkable for me, and anything below 5 is varying degrees of bad.
Itās very very rare Iāll think a project is below a 5/10 because no artist with a legitimate fanbase is consistently putting out music that is truly unlistenable. Most albums that come out within a calendar year fall in that 6/7/8 range.
With all that being said, I would give For All The Dogs a 7/10.
