People throwing around loser as a synonym of misogynist/sexist, which they are interrelated,

but i think loser is a fresher word and maybe it seems more aggressive when criticizing something like Drake putting women in their place, dissing Rihanna because he’s upset to see her with another man, sending shots at other women too, that they probably know exactly what he’s talking about when they heard it.

That being said I do think an actually good discussion can be had about this, about men’s insecurities, expectations in a relationship, the fact that drake alludes to buying women things to demonstrate love to them even if that doesn’t really seem to work in the long run
