I agree and he did carry a lot of that same energy but he just made a lot of bad song decisions on FATD. Like a lot of them and weighs the album down.

We just had to let some steam off after completely sucking ass the first four games… smh

I think keeping features he would usually give away dragged this album down

If you like rap Drake understandable but if you are a fan of the complete package IMO 2/3s of his discography are better than Her Loss

The only songs on the second half of CLB that I really really enjoy are Race My Mind, Get Along Better, and F***ing Fans. The rest of them could’ve been cut for me

Imo CLB has too many features and some tracks just don't fit the vibe and should've been released on other projects. The title is Certified Lover Boy and imo a track like Knife Talk just does not fit on an album called like this. I would love it more like this:

This makes the album less bloated and more cohesive thematically

I have to say, I like Knife Talk and N2Deep more than any song on this album.

Drake voice and delivery on IDGAF is straight up More Life era
