What is your AOTY (aside from FATD?) I love Sunburn by Dominic Fike
I really love Sunburn too, Dominic and Drake would make magic fr
my AOTY just in terms of replay value is I think still Lovesick by Don Toliver
Doja Cat's Scarlet is top 3
4God II by Rob49 was also super hard, maybe not AOTY but is full of smacks, he knows his sound well & his vocal energy is unmatched
Austin by Post Malone was really great...
Raven by Kelela is a dope album if you haven't peeped, I guess Its not my AOTY bc of competition but a very engaging front-to-back listen just like Take Me Apart
stacked year if you've been looking for music
I always feel like I'm missing releases or not giving them proper attention
No f***ing way this album is 23 songs long by the time I'm at track 14 I'm like goddamn this low-key his best crafted project since maybe more life or NWTS sequence wise

Does anyone else’s dog love this f***ing album? My guy always barks back when he hears the dogs barking at the beginning of Bahamas Promises

First show would now be in Texas if 9/8 is the date.

this is the moment when Drake said
"The time has come for a new Bad Bunny collab"
Just ran Liability - Hours in Silence - Drew A Picasso
Generational
He's coming...
this was such an unhinged era
it felt like an insane wait but it wasn't even that long fr

Its because every night we got a album "update"
we in the club with your gay friends
polar opposites > fire & desire 🤧
bro won’t let the music even age with him first

nah i’m playing but ima say it’s gonna reach that level for me, i just think fire & desire for overplayed lmaoo
Finally made it through the whole album. Very lukewarm first play through tbh. I’ll probably keep about half the songs on a playlist which has been pretty standard for the last 4 Drake albums for me (except Honestly, Nevermind, that’s a blassic).
On another note Slime You Out has grown on me like I thought it would.

Fire & Desire is top 20 Drake songs
the insane bass drop, the sample, the songwriting, the whole richness of the sound
one of the best songs on VIEWS fr
you gotta give this album time
I love Polar Opposites tho

I've had about the opposite reaction from you for the past few albums, I like the new energy Drake is moving with
I think I appreciate that he doesn't really care to appease any particular crowds and just does what he enjoys
what do you think Drake's albums are missing nowadays?
& what was special to you about the Honestly Nevermind album?
