This album feels very sedated aside from
the more aggressive songs (daylight idgaf etc)
i don’t know how else to describe it
part of that is that atmospheric production that’s been a part of his music almost since the beginning

Polar Opposites
The R&B heavy hitters of the album. Some of the other producers also used that underwater lo-fi sound that 40 has made popular and basically became his signature sound. Along with the in reverse effect sound, that’s been in Drake’s past albums that give it a “old Drake” feel. Perfect example would be “All The Parties (feat. Chief Keef). He wasn’t on it but it sounds like his production.

You’re definitely right, but he was making the album while on tour though. The one music video he has was made in less then 2 hours. I don’t think he even cares much, currently. He’s flexing getting number 1’s with little to no effort. Her Loss had some really dope promo, nothing over the top. And that was just last year.
