Not around is probably one of his most quotable songs ever, if not his most quotable song. its dynamic and fits any mood, reminds me of songs like best I ever had and controlla in a way. If its released as a single with a proper music video and actual promotion by drake besides sharing stories then it'll be bigger than LNCL at minimum. The GP still hasn't heard it and people who have heard it are still listening to it half a year later like its fresh.

Everyone has their own metric of what a smash hit is. Greece for example:

A top 10 single is a smash hit to most. 250,000,000 on spotify alone in 7 months is a smash hit for most. Some people use billboard as a measure and others use the rolling stone as a measure.

At the end of the day he's ahead of anyone else with however you want measure it in terms of smash hits. Not around has the properties for pop radio play (more than LNCL which had a stronghold on radio). It has the properties for easy replay because of its repetitiveness. its easily memeable. and it sounds personable too. If its released as a single with a video then it'll be a hit for sure.

Especially now with drivers license's steam falling off, the top song is at its lowest point total in the history of the charts. If drake dropped scorpion in this climate, the point totals would have given him the entire top 15 of the chart (top 13 if we take out nice for what and god's plan). CLB will probably break his tie with the Beatles (most songs charting simultaneously in the top 10)
