but is Drake really moving that sloppy where he sends the producers of his tracks the full track weeks/months before even dropping the song? Surely we'd have waaaay more leaks if he was moving like that

people don’t get that Drake isn’t neeeting up with like 75% of these producers in real life same way with a lot of artists they just send the verses to that beat

Are you sure they send the producer his verse? that isn't how it works from what I know. I've seen producers talk about how they didn't know Drake was on their beat until a day or 2 before it came out on Spotify etc

the way it works from what I've heard is Drake's team shops for beats, Drake records to them, they sign papers the week of release then it comes out, it's never sent back to the producer because it doesn't need to be & would be too risky
