irving azoff and another dude made that MJ feature happen (therefore they had a % of the song) on Scorpion and that song was supposed to be pushed as an actual single with merch and the whole drake machine behind it
there was a video in the works right after Scorpion dropped for DMTM but IMF (who was never supposed to be a single) blew the f*** up and Drake decided to just drop the MJ song and run with that one
The other guy who made this song happen was in an article apparently extremely mad at Drake for this but Azoff most likely isn't pissed because of....Sicko Mode on which he has % on

Yea it was him and Paul Anka, a singer from the 60s who sang Put Your Head On My Shoulder, although it was eventually released as a single but I didn't know there was a video for it
