actually didnt see many people calling this track above average. But i think its definitely peak drake.

Production/beat - very unusual underwater production, not generic, . I think Ive never heard that type of beat before even after that. Still slaps

Mix/master - I think one of the best mixed tracks from NWTS. Those delays and reverbs are really something special. 40 goat.

100% agree. This is how i made couple of my friends a Drake's fans 6-7 years ago. They were high at the moment and I blew their minds by playing this song 😁 They never really heard something like that. Its timeless. If s*** would drop tonight everyone would go crazy about it. It doesnt even sounds like 7 years old song. Its still so amazing

Initially I liked Wu Tang Forever and Own It as a pair. But as time went on, Own It started to fall off for me.

The second verse picks up but "Next time we f*** I don't wanna f***, I wanna make love" makes me wanna skip.
