Interesting
https://twitter.com/certifiedjared/status/1813069491196293628Dj Khaled Deleted Pics with Drake off his IG too wtf
general theme between slime you out and 7969 santa and maybe a couple more is like, girls doing him wrong, doing s*** on trips, etc etc
idk i cant relate to that i dont date those type of girls and never have so for me i see it like "bro these the type of girls you choosing why not grow up a bit and pick grown women who dont do this?" and this concept is backed up by his public dating history as well
It's corny. He's been crying about the same stuff for over a decade. He's actually regressed in maturity. He's gotten more bitter.
For some reason in all these songs he thinks that buying a woman a car, condo, jewelry, Benz, or an expensive trip is enough for them to "act right"
He then proceeds to cry about how they are with "lames" or "lesser men" or "guys with way less money than him"
Maybe should look at himself and see what's wrong with him, for the same story to keep happening.
How does anyone listen to this and be like yea this is normal for a 37-38 year old man. And I understand, he is not a normal 37-38 year old man. His life is significantly different.
The Rihanna stuff was so lame. Beyond lame.

you summarized this better than i could tbh
point also being its not necessarily a single song or line with drake, its been a theme of his entire career
Interesting
https://twitter.com/certifiedjared/status/1813069491196293628this is truly sad IMO
I’m legit unhappy to see this.
@516ix, we need ya
Since June your tone changed a little, you not as enthused
How are you not in ktt2? It feel like you kinda removed

AND PERHAPS WHAT IS THIS
He guys, I'm about to listen to NWTS for the first time. Wish me luck!

And it's a character flaw of his, which is fine, if he can acknowledge it and grow from it. Maybe he is?
Would be interesting if he put it in his music.
A huge complaint about Drake is his subject matter is the same thing, rinse and repeat.
How interesting would it be if he was actually truly vulnerable and went into the WHY of his relationship failures, instead of always blaming the woman. He does this in pieces in some of his music and it always is really good. But this would take a lot of self-reflection and really putting aside your ego, which is easier said that done.
Also all these shots at black women (Meg, Rihanna, Esperanza, etc), which was a huge core demographic of his, was never smart. So many of them turned on him, and for good reason. I didn't include Serena because he took shots at her husband and I understand why. But to the overall general public, they aren't going to know that the guy was liking anti-Drake tweets or whatever.

dude, hit the nail on the head
his whole brand was being female friendly and supportive of women yet for a while now he has seemed quite "against" women
would be nice to see an introspective drake talk about his own problems in his relationships etc, maybe part of that heartbreak drake concept
Interesting
https://twitter.com/certifiedjared/status/1813069491196293628this isn’t true…Khaled just posts A LOT

You actually believed me
nah just saying i wish i could do it
wish i was around longer tbh, i think back then i was a kendrick and j cole guy lmfaooo, thought drake was corny
If you haven't peep the Comeback Season tape / Era very underrated.

People don't realize this started as a Drake song Wayne put a verse on. Recorded in 2008.

remember when nice for what came out and the whole world was like "wow drake is so cool for supporting women no other rappers really do that"

March 14th out now
Vulnerable talk about generational trauma between his parents failed marriage and his expectations for himself / living up to those expectations for his son.
But he didn't cosplay as Jesus so I guess it don't count.

Churchill Downs verse about
abandonment issues, not only about fam/friends but even his contemporaries in the industry. The reality the industry and fame is working against him.

nah like i agree with you, but i also agree it would be nicer to drake do this more about his relationships given from the start of his career hes been known as this "sensitive guy" and is known for singing about relationships
you're 40 be mature and introspective now
gently is horrific instant skip srry
FATD is almost a classic them it has tracks like this or IDGAF which aren't bad but they sound like features he was going to give away and ended up keeping the whole track. The Yachty song too and I actually like it but the album is all over the place

I'm hearing you but this entertainer needs to grow up things is so strange and recent. Drakes life is Drakes life wether you approve or not I just don't get it. Our presidents are name calling in debates and were asking Drake the rapper/singer/entertainer to grow up. It's not you I just don't know how to take it seriously. I'll never get it. Look around you.
