"Why would I call around tryna get dirt on niggas? Y'all think all my life is rap?"
"That's ho s***, I got a son to raise, but I can see you don't know nothin' 'bout that"
That fact that Kendrick says this to open up the beef and the concept that Drake is a deadbeat, and then goes and gets caught digging up dirt on Drake (daughter) is hilarious
Pullitzer Prize had him gassed up, he really thought he was an investigative journalist for a minute there
The production on the 6 track run is so f***ing goated:
Keep the family close

U with me?
Feel no ways
Hype
Weston road flows
Does anyone feel sorta melancholy when listening to Feel No Ways?
For me it makes me feel like I missed something in my life. I don't know what that thing is but the song makes me sad. Maybe I just miss being younger.
dude, keep the family close production is one of my favorite rap/r&b productions of all time, the individual instruments sound so good and so big like im in a theatre
Exactly bro, Views was different. Idk what it was, maybe they were creatively in their bag, or that commitment to refining the sound (the amount of times they kept pushing the release due to small edits). It really showed in the quality of the music. Don't get me wrong his newer stuff is still awesome, but the moment you hear any of the Views stuff especially Keep The Family Close - just chef's kiss.
Also, I really really want Drake to work more with Maneesh, he's produced Keep the Family Close, Views (song), Champagne Poetry, Diplomatic Immunity & 95 South (J Cole). Everyone talks about 40, Boi1da, Bnyx but maaan... Drake & Maneesh??? Straight GAS

dude has a short track list of stuff produced but practically one of the best lists of music I've seen one producer produce no cap. insane ear for symphony-esque melodies.
That's interesting but I don't believe you.
Lmao that crazy I don’t care
if drake knew he might have a kid when he started the beef with pusha, why didnt he just wait until he knew and announced it publicly before going into the beef? a touch of foresight couldve saved him there
Dj Khaled Deleted Pics with Drake off his IG too wtf
https://twitter.com/samebabyface/status/1813060644398149679Good get that Zionist out of Drake circle always knew his ass was fake asf dude was only there when he needed features

Lol! Yeah mine is different. It's like finding out years down the line some chick liked you but you were stressin' about some other s*** so you never really tried anything. Like you sorta thought they liked you but weren't 100% but other things happened and nothing really came from it. Then you become sorta nostalgic for a life and a relationship you never had.
That's the feeling that song gives me.

Yeah u rite about us talking about the same thing. I'm tired AF and didn't really comprehend what you were saying. Lol!
I think it's a mix of what I just said in my last comment and being able to slow down and just enjoy the moments a little more. Sometimes I feel like I get caught up in s*** because so much is happening and everything starts passing me by.

You miss being younger it'll fade though.

Time just seems like its going to faster than it is due to primary memories. Perception.
The Legend of Baggar Vance
(Great movie recommend it)
"It was just a moment ago."
gained a doctorate reading through the thread
What’s good guys. Just got done playing the new football game for ten hours
i personally, wish drake would mature a bit and make songs that are more relatable
and i personally believe, that if he did it would be better for his fanbase because more people would be able to relate to him and enjoy his music because even if they dont relate, nothing would come off to scream otherwise
now, does that mean drake is "supposed to" or "should"? nah his life is his life
I kinda agree. I really think DLDT was a step into this more “mature” direction while still having fresh sounds. Followed up by tracks like Lemon Pepper, wasting time verse and Churchill etc. I wouldn’t think an album like FATD (which I still like but has some questionable choices) would drop 2 years later
Is it true that DJ Khaled has deleted all his posts about Drake?
wtf yeah it looks like it. Also he doesn’t even follow drake anymore?
Edit - yes he does still follow Drake I just had to scroll down a few pages.
Had no idea Kendrick still had this many hands in his pocket.
From the Billboard article of Not Like Us returning to #1.
“Not Like Us,” on pgLang/Top Dawg/Aftermath/Interscope/ICLG, reigns with 53.8 million official streams (up 20%), 40 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 9%) and 8,000 sold (up 16%) in the United States July 5-11.

I really do hope their relationship is ruined. Drake has no reason to still be giving that clown songs.
