We don't know but the first person to mention it was someone who made a reddit account saying that Drake was trying to clear the "Take Money" Faith Evan's sample from Hit Em Up. So under Interscope it could've leaked from there or higher up at UMG. When you want to clear a sample sometimes the labels or estate will request to hear the song for approval. It looks like clearing that song may have cost Drake because I'm pretty sure that guy was an employee if he knew weeks ahead he must be pretty high up. No one knew about Push Ups for another week and a half until AK sub posted it

hes def gonna do a hnvm sequel. Its not gonna be directly called HNVM 2 but like Gordo said in the interview when he spoke to Drake, its about Drake evolving the sounds in house music and Drake has shown a huge affinity for this genre over the last few years. He's starting to champion it in a way I think his next full length project that's in this genre will be be nothing like HNVM but but more Black Coffee "Subconsciously" and "Music is King" sounds.

Btw I'm not saying his next album is gonna be house music but I do think his next ALBUM will have actual rap music where he gets a lot off his chest and he gets introspective and gets into that new style of rap he manages to always discover post-beefs but I'm just saying at some point we will get another house music album from Drake and I can't wait. He's paying attention to the entire space and studying and learning it very carefully. That's when he really starts cooking up his own ideas and iterations of what exists and how can change it up and make things more fresh.

I didn't know how to feel when HNVM dropped but for his next house album, I'm pumped asf. Texts Go Green is a f***ing chune.
