kendrick dropped to like 25m a day before the music video dropped, he will do something again when it starts dropping to the 20-25m level IMO (happened with the pop out then the mv)

Kendrick was doing roughly 50M Pre Beef across all platforms (Spotify, Pandora, Apple, Youtube etc...)
Drake was doing 250 M Pre Beef across all platforms

By May 5-6 they were both doing 255M roughly.

I think that's just Spotify weekly (drake does ~40M a day, 280m a week) or 1.2B a month currently

there's no reason for drake to drop, he will be 2nd or 3rd most streamed artist this year (behind only taylor and bad bunny).

meanwhile the midget is prob in the studio daily trying to make west coast bangers, bro went from a conscious rapper to the next e40.

Same haters, they just found a person to rally behind.
I mean kdot said it himself "I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk, I hate the way that you dress" and DMX (RIP) before him. Some people just want hiphop to look and sound the same. They hate change or anyone being different. These are the same people who called Drake 'soft' when he released 'Take Care' and was "pandering" to women.
Same old heads that was hating on the youngsters during the "Mumble rap" era. And of course, let's not forget about the hordes of bandwagoners who just hop onto whatever opinion in hip hop is popular at the moment. These are the same people who reluctantly gave Drake his flowers when he was already well into a decade of his run

True her release schedule wasn't going to forever stop, but he could still gage a pulse on the responses and the fact a DRAKE feature wasn't doing its normal impact, agree/disagree? Maybe I should've positioned my opinion like that instead from the jump. You're right, that song was gonna drop anyways but I do think he's still holding back so s*** dies down + he gets more source material. (Personally) I don't want basic bars, i want bars where he got triple entendres and insane word plays b/c he's lacing all these different subject matters together but in a Drake fashion where its still catchy.

Y'all gotta stop acting like every single Drake feature is an assured chart hit. It doesn't work that way. For every feature he has that becomes a hit, he has 4 more that don't. Y'all just don't pay attention to those for some reason. I pointed it out in another thread how almost 40 songs he's been on as a featured act never even charted on the Hot 100, despite many of them resonating with fans.

If he's holding back from dropping music, that's smart. I've already said he should delay dropping till at least next year so I'm good either way.

Brother at one point during the beef Kendrick was doing 50-70M streams daily via Spotify
(More than J. Cole & Drake combined at that time).
Granted that lasted less than a week.
People don't look at numbers enough to see it.
Kendrick fans don't realize the World of Popular music and Hip Hop literally stopped and was either introduced to or revisited Kendrick's catalog and that didn't last more than a week. (No Replay)
Kendrick streams are low, it just doesn't seem like it, if you remove one song (NLU) a 5th of his current daily streams disappears.
He's not close he still hasn't broke 40B Total.
