You're missing that people are pointing out Ye has refs 100s of them and he called himself the best and there wasn't the same push back there is for the guy with 10-20 ref tracks.
Who also has written for other rappers and singers.

And I guess you don't see anything wrong with him totally copying the style, lingo, and flow without changing anything. Jumbotron being a great example of this. He added nothing to what Yacthy wrote. He was cosplaying and performing karaoke on that track. You may not see anything wrong with it, but it totally backfired on him as evidenced by his most recent loss in one of the biggest rap battles of all time. It was an easy thing to point out.

So why does Drake resort to using those reference tracks for those "pop" tracks? What's the point?
Just because he writes those AM/PM series songs, that absolves him from copying other songs?
