probably a mix of

hes a bit corny and maybe a bit immature overall compared to his peers
he f***s around a lot
he probably is a bit of a d*** or ruthless when it comes to certain business or deals (ie. OVO sweatshop rumors)
and i think the most likely cause for some distaste is that hes the biggest thing on the planet and in becoming that he took a very gatekept genre and gentrified it a bit
