Personally i think Drake is pretty clever. He got these feature songs out of the way to begin with (Wag Gwan Deliah, U My Everything and these two Camila records) b/c the amount of eyes on him immediately post THP6 on what his next solo / serious hit attempt song was going to be was crazy. He's deflated that to an extent and now its almost given people 2 months to forget s***, relax (even us here) and we can simply appreciate our guy and the heat he'll bring soon. Agree/Disagree?

I get wym but I don’t think anyone has necessarily forgot about anything. Just a little bit of time has passed since which has kinda deflated some of the bigger moments but not totality wiped it away. Def think he’s going for something like that though. The boy too strategic

Same. I knew that the internet loved to hate on Drake since Views/Scorpion time but to see so many hip hop media personalities blatantly hate and goal post move was wild. Even Spotify helping Kenny streams and not acknowledging Drake for breaking the biggest record in their platform. This s*** is deeper than just rap as we all know. They reallllyyy want him gone. Also the fake woke Kenny fans gatekeeping rap and race has been sickening and cringeworthy. In all honesty, I can’t really even listen to Kenny the same way anymore lol. I enjoyed a lot of his music but pedo raps have kinda turned me away from his music.

As a fan, I’d be cool if Drake gave us 1-2 more projects in the next 2 years and just retired for real 🤷🏾‍♂️ he literally has nothing left to prove and it’s pretty clear that outside of his core fan base, people aren’t going to appreciate him until he steps away for a bit. I would love to see him break MJ’s record though before he’s done.
