All of that woke ness, fake mysterious gimmick, fake activism, different sounds and themes all for his biggest mark to be a drake diss
Lmao
By this time next year, he'll have regrets about ever making Not Like Us.

and re: whitney: she definitely had her comments and dms closed since the tracks came out at least (hence why i brought up the acc being deleted now)
How is everyone mentally preparing for video of the decade to drop?
As a huge Drake stan I’m f***in terrified
They got no idea
Tonight another classic

Watch out for any dummys that get behind a wheel after drinking

There's a whole generation of kids who right now are identifying with him as the "Not Like Us" guy, mostly because that's his most visible song in the last 7 years. The content of the song, the fact that it directly involved Drake and the fact that it'll likely end up as his biggest hit record ever are a combination of things he'll eventually come to resent. He'll go on having fans who keep demanding he performs the song at shows long after the lustre of it wears off.
For all the talk about Back to Back, the one thing Drake has always understood with all his rap beefs is to never make them a bigger moment than they needed to be. The same day he put Back to Back/Charged Up on DSPs was the same day Hotline Bling went up on DSPs. He knew not to let Back to Back be his big summer moment, even though the call in his beef with Meek was that he won. By August/September, Hotline Bling is a massive hit record, late September, he drops WATTBA and October, drops the music video for Hotline Bling, which made the song a cultural staple. All those moves, including Work with Rihanna being a massive hit led to Views being the massive era it was. He knew that career music — not rap beef music — was the momentum he needed to ride into the release of Views.
Kendrick's mistake is trying to lead an entire campaign into his next album on the momentum of Drake hate. I might end up being wrong but for as long as I've understood it, people showing you love/support mostly because of the disdain they have for someone else, will never be sustainable. I don't know why people seem to think that everyone who supported Kendrick's diss tracks as a way to s*** on Drake will automatically show up and support his next album.
There’s new music at the end of the Not Like Us video. Lets see if there’s any shots thrown.
What did you mean by Kendrick slipping on his victory lap? Is Drake going to step on the release with his video?

Very well said

No
He’s stepping on it with an album
Its war time now. Greenlight everyone
The best move for Drake now would be to completely move on from this beef. There's absolutely nothing to gain from still trying to go at Kendrick because nothing he says/does will change the public perception that he lost. If anything, it'll only make people call him a sore loser. His only focus now should be putting together the best album possible for his next release. Get back to what really matters.

How is now the time to respond? He had plenty of opportunities and fumbled them. Dude just needs to remove it from his life and move on

the last 4 features were quite telling he's moved on

As he should. Should stop referencing it altogether imo but he’s the self proclaimed petty king so I guess I’m not surprised lol
