That b**** really ruined the vibes on here
I think everyone should focus on the awesome tracks we already received. Drake and Kendrick released awesome tracks that we can replay, expecting more would be cool but it’s not necessary. Fall is coming up and summer is flying by fast, why consume ourselves with a beef when there’s pressing matters to discuss?

We have received 9 tracks in total. There’s not much else to add, it’s over man. Drake’s legacy has been defined, Kendrick’s legacy has been defined, we should appreciate what we have and avoid missing the moment. Just have fun

Family Matters & Push Ups all we really got. THP6 is a fire lyrical battle but it's not something that has a ton of replay value in the scope of different ways/things you can bump it to. U My Everything, Wag Wan Deliah all ain't it. Good troll jobs but that's all they are. WE need 2018 feature run Drake rn. Take back the summer Drake f***

i mean the rumor is that its two artists he has not worked with yet so i guess that's what most of this thread was hanging on for the past few days sigh

I’m hanging onto to the fact that we’re getting an album
We just need to do:
Drake new album thread (Designed by Winter)
Proxy threads
Keep disrespecting my name in my thread

Big Dog even said nothing this week. I would just be surprised if he waits till Friday because of Em. Idk he's gotta drop something soon tho.
I feel like rappers will see this as a way to keep dissing him because they know he'll just go silent and drop music later. He'll always have the numbers and money but I think this is more about respect.
I just think he has way too big of an ego to let this slide.

You tryna let this s*** die down, nah, nah, nah
Not this time, nigga, you followin' through

So you really want him to mention this beef on those new tracks? There has been a lot to talk about, especially behind the scenes, maybe if he could provide insight on what’s been going on as opposed to dissing Kendrick can be beneficial the brand. We should be focused on figuring out what the stem of the issues are and figuring out how we can promote collaboration. Life too short for beef.

I don't think any other rapper jabbing him reall yis gonna do anymore damage unless its some crazy exposition OR they also use the whole p3do angle but i think every day the public is starting to clown Drake. Small details but even his IG followers going down lol i know that sound stupid but people are easy to sway in this space and in real time we're watching his armor get shot at. What do you think?

Drake has tried numerous times it seems like to fix his relationship with Kendrick. But Kendrick didn't want to.

This I argree with. If he wants to get introspective and transition away from the beef to his usual style of music (bangers) then I'm all for it. I think the public and all fanbases can't look at him the same until he bridges the gap by getting introspective, throwing some jabs and then moving to the bangers. Going from THP6 to Hot Uptown doesn't have the same momentum right now it should. Hot Uptown is an amazing song but even a slight % of his own fan base is doubting him atm "is that the next move? that's all?"

Sometimes you have to let bygones be bygones, if save the direct disses for the album and let the features exist on their own. There’s more than just beef, I’m sure there’s some other topics Drake can address that will have us interested.

I agree! This is legacy defining stuff like Winter said.
Even for how small IG followers are it shows people just don't care anymore. And part of his brand was posting random s*** on IG.
I know people want to let this go and move on but if he lets Kendrick continue what he's doing it does show he can be pushed around.

I understand your perspective and fans definitely need something because the troll tracks have put Drake in a unique position. Went from full on disses to fun tracks, and while there’s nothing wrong with fun tracks, we are bouncing from place to place and we need something with a different foundation. There’s this emptiness feeling that resulted from the beef that has many wishing for more, like an inconclusive ending to a tv show. A introspective record would be perfect.

Facts bro. Hot Uptown & Uuugly isn't moving the needle. Idc if its a diss track, an EP, real solo Drake level singles, proper collabs with rappers - whatever it is, it gotta stop the bleeding and sway people right back into Drake's corner. Right now, I can't lie his brand is taking a significant hit. Yes streaming numbers are consistent but that's not all that matters, whether paid off or not all of these media channels, reactors etc who are the communicators and mouthpieces of the culture in a way are starting to s*** on him and overtime it'll convince people s*** that isn't even true. Its literally brainwashing attempts at this point

Which is unfortunate because Kendrick on FPS would have been fun and strong for our culture. Sad to see how many people are encouraging a divide within the hip hop space, people questioning black heritage, skin complexion, and one’s upbringing. This beef brought a lot of content for podcasters but they took the ball and ran with it, a lot of negativity being spread right now, just not a good sight. Kendrick’s pop out show united the west, but the ramifications of this beef can transcend Tupac and Biggie, solely due to politics.

Stop the bleeding is a perfect way to describe this. It's also his brand that took a hit. When Push dissed him he just went after Drake and 40. But Kendrick went after Drake and all of OVO. What artist is going to want sign with them at the moment?
Like you said the lies continue to be pushed and eventually people will start saying them as facts. He keeps sneak dissing on IG and this dude just needs to drop. Even if it's a summer banger or a diss. Just get people talking about you that's music focused.
