They need a reason to drop that NLU West Coast remix. They know dropping it without Drake doing anything else will make people call them out for being thirsty and Kendrick needs NLU to last as long as possible because it's his biggest hit yet and he knows the likelihood of ever getting another hit like this is slim to none. It being a song that also s***s on Drake is the icing on the cake.

Yeah, I get that but he should still have known better. The only rap beef he had to engage in was the one with Meek because Meek called his pen into question.

He was already trading shots back and forth with Push, he had an album set to drop only a month later, he could have easily saved his response to Infrared for Scorpion. Even with this latest situation with Kendrick. They'd been going back and forth for well over a decade and suddenly, when Kendrick is down bad culturally and commercially and none of his songs are sticking, he takes a dig at you and uses the clout from invoking your name to get a #1 hit. You should have known his intent behind that. Even with everyone going at you around the same time. That should have acted as motivation for an album. Save all your anger for that album and address all of them on there and double down on talking your s***. Ultimately, his pride, ego and overconfidence are what led to him losing his last 2 battles. His pride in underestimating his opponents and underestimating just how much people have been itching to see him lose/be humbled/get embarrassed.

Drake will never gain anything from outright beefing with anyone because he's more famous/successful than everyone so he's the one people will care the most about when it comes to private/personal details being revealed and that's really all what rap beef is. It's never a true showing of skill and craft. It's always about mudslinging and spilling tea because all anyone ever truly cares about is the mess.

Hopefully, he's learned his lesson now and knows to NEVER let himself be used by these niggas to give themselves a boost.

No beef talk tbh I want it but even I know starting the beef is a lose lose situation. I think he should drop a project or go on ft run. When i say a ft run I mean actually rap like u hungry on some recent Artist track that are poppin. He’s good at that.
