"the songs mixed bad" shut the f*** up already.

Took page 139 for sales chart cmon we gotta do better
Shut up lol. The mix on the song IS bad. You don't need to have a degree in audio engineering to hear that.
Kendrick and Tyler are better than both of them.
Kendrick not at this point in his career but Tyler might be as good I still haven't check out the estate sale

Me listening to Search & Rescue by Drake tomorrow standing at the station after I just missed my train

real

God damn this is real
It's not mixed bad, Drake's voice just sounds like it was recorded in a tin can
there's a lot of songs since like More Life era that just sound like they were recorded on-the-go or something but so much of his early albums were recorded on tour and sound amazing so idgi
What you think of the mixing of his vocals here? The lofi vibe is obviously deliberate but it sounds a little off right?
It just doesn't sound crisp and it's even worse because this is a single. It's not like it's a part of an album and you can excuse how the mix might not be good enough because whoever mixed it was rushing to get done so Drake could get it out. Drake premiered the song on the Fry Yiy radio show on Saturday and 40 had a whole week to perfect the mix and just didn't do that.

Are you just talking about the digital-sounding vocal effect on his voice? Bc that's obviously intentionally and not really the fault of the mix. Or are you talking about other aspects?
edit: wait I think you just explained above
Drake has been tapped in with Yeat, Yachty, and WOD
and they think the mix isn’t Drake trying to channel those underground soundcloud vibes? Lol OKAY

you said this mans voice sounds like a tin can?

don’t he record in his bedroom now
y’all saying “40 deliberately made it dirty”
that’s like when you add fake vinyl crackle to a digital song…it sounds cheap af. Drake’s vocals sound like a compressed, clipped MP3 file man
This gotta be leading to a new project for sure though, he hasn’t dropped a completely loosie standalone single since Signs. Even Laugh Now, Cry Later was announced as the lead single of CLB when it dropped

His vocals are mixed poorly and the mix of the production over his vocals are also mixed poorly.

whatever he tryna achieve clearly missed the mark
it definitely reminds me of the 2020 leaks and some of the tracks off DLDT.
cool nocturnal semi unfinished vibes
yall playing this s*** at home saying it's mid, maybe go to a club tomorrow night and find out
Kendrick not at this point in his career but Tyler might be as good I still haven't check out the estate sale
Excuse me what? How the f*** is Kendrick not at that point in his career if his discography is objectively better than both Cole and Drake? lol
whatever he tryna achieve clearly missed the mark
Not enugh interesting elements in the prod and his melodies
