kendrick didnt reveal anything new about drake, he just took s*** people already thought and emphasized it and gave people who already didnt like drake an outlet to express that

drake needed to do the same but 1. its tough to do to kendrick whos pretty lowkey and 2. i think he was trying too hard to go the pusha route with exposing drama

This is my take on it. I highly recommend you listen to Mother I Sober tho.

I know people are saying Drake misinterpreted the song because Drake's lyric is, "that's that one record where you SAY you got molested." People are getting hung up on the fact that Kendrick never explicitly said HE GOT molested in the song. Kendrick denies the claim three times if I remember.

But this is a diss track. Because Kendrick is lying about the PDF allegations Drake is saying Kendrick is also lying about this too. Kendrick is an unreliable narrator is the word I see going around. I understand Kendrick never said he got molested the song but if Drake just says, "that's the song about abuse." Then it looses all it's venom.

Drake is saying because you believe I'm a pdf that means you did get molested. Just like Kendrick's mom who didn't believe Kendrick because she was sexual assaulted.

If the events on Mother I Sober are true Kendrick can't say he's healed and stopped a generational curse if he doesn't believe Drake. Unless Kendrick has evidence. Kendrick should understand what it's like to be in Drake's shoes. Even if Kendrick flat out hates Drake that's not actual healing. Kendrick as a black man should sympathize with Drake another black man because he knows all the hardships he went through for not being believed. The addiction, the women, losing Whitney, and all the depression.

Kendrick can't have it both ways. He can't say he wasn't molested and broke a generational curse if he doesn't believe Drake.
