SD i know the littlest about but if youre doing digital stuff then the bayarea is the way to go like graphics design, 3d modeling or animation etc. while more traditional arts is moreso LA. Music you can do either of them.

I would just reccomend moving there when youre already established in a job somewhere - going to Cali to "make it" is kinda dead with all the economy issues since late 2010s. Have a connect beforehand or have some kind of established footprint even if its small before moving.

Moving there with literally nothing but the shirt on your back kind of era has been dead, but there is still thing you can do, go and get in.

Yeah I have Connects and they’re great thankfully, I just need a bit more experience and then find an animation or film job there first. I dont even know if I could do the move to LA with the shirt off your back thing from Canada with visas and stuff hahaha. I didnt know the Bay Area had a scene like that tbh, but it doesn’t surprise me! So who knows! Would love to move into traditional art after I make my money in film, thats my master plan, so ill be all around hopefully.
