It directly shows how disillusioned and corny Drake is. He's only doing the Pharrell stuff because of Pusha. They both could care less. Pharrell is last person to do anything close to drama or beef and is one of the most heralded and connected figures in the industry. It's just stupid on Drake's part. It definitely has (and should) have some consequences.

Like, Jay just flew out to Paris for Pharrell's LV s*** at the drop of a dime and also got on stage to perform for him lol. He doesn't do that. He has a stake in BBC. Is on every single Beyonce album in some way. They both were at their weddings. They're really friends. It's not just industry s***. Of course Jay is looking at this weird s*** Drake is doing with distain. Especially since Pharrell isn't going to defend himself. It's exactly like if someone is coming at Khaled, for example. Fat Joe is going to take offense, etc.

When I first heard them shots at P I was just very confused. Cuz as far as I know, I don't remember Pharrell ever involving himself with the Pusha / YM beef directly unless I missed something, even though he would be well within his rights to seeing as how Birdman skimping him on a payday is what kicked all of this off

Tbh there couldn't have been any real problem between Pharrell and Cash Money because Pharrell did two songs with Wayne for Carter 3 that didn't make the album lol. Obviously way after What Happened to that Boy

Pharrell, Wayne, and Pusha all squashed the beef around that time. Push even sent bottles to wayne in the club before he went to jail and congratulated him for his success in miami

The Beef kicked back up once pusha joined good music and he started dissing wayne again and eventually drake
